Biblical Answers to the World Mission Society Church of God

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.--1 John 4:1

Are you or a loved one struggling with this group? Do you need Biblical answers about the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCoG or CoGWMS), their founder Ahnsahnghong (Ahn Sahng/Sang-Hong) or their current leader "Mother Jerusalem" (a.k.a. "Heavenly Mother God," Zang/Zahng Gil-Jah, or Chung Gil Cha)? Thank you for coming here. I hope my blog helps you. Questions and comments are always welcome.

Need Encouragement?

Do you need some encouragement today?  I do.  This is a very difficult and sad week for my family.

I get a lot of encouragement from music (which is probably why I listen to K-LOVE so much).  And God regularly touches my heart through the praise and worship at church.  Last night was our midweek service at church, and it seemed like God had picked those songs out especially for me.  The song leader doesn't know what I've been through this week, but God does.

Just thought I would share these songs with you, and maybe they will touch your heart also.
Why So Downcast (from Psalm 42)
I Could Sing of Your Love Forever
Jesus, Lover of My Soul
How Great is Our God
Untitled Hymn by Chris Rice

Rise by Shawn McDonald (lyrics included)

  2. My heart goes out to you and your family, but I'm sure you know more than most, that God (or whatever you call God) is with you all at all times.

  3. Thank you. I think it's important for us all to encourage each other, just like it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:11.

If any of you have a special verse or song that lifts you up in rough times, please share!

  4. Here's a verse:
    Psalm 147:3
    "He heals the brokenhearted
    And binds up their wounds."

And here's another great, uplifting song (I'll add a link to it in the post above):
    "Rise" by Shawn McDonald

  5. Words of encouragement: don't forget what you've made it through in the past during your fight in the present.
