Biblical Answers to the World Mission Society Church of God

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.--1 John 4:1

Are you or a loved one struggling with this group? Do you need Biblical answers about the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCoG or CoGWMS), their founder Ahnsahnghong (Ahn Sahng/Sang-Hong) or their current leader "Mother Jerusalem" (a.k.a. "Heavenly Mother God," Zang/Zahng Gil-Jah, or Chung Gil Cha)? Thank you for coming here. I hope my blog helps you. Questions and comments are always welcome.

WMSCOG Members, Please Start Here

If you are a member of the World Mission Society Church of God, I'm glad you found your way here.  Welcome!

I understand you may not feel welcome reading negative information about the church you love.  Maybe you are angry with me and feel that the devil is using me to persecute you and your church.

I'm sorry to upset you so, but I hope you will understand that I am not here out of hate for you personally.  Truly I care about you and the state of your soul.  If you are like most WMSCOG members I've met, you really do want to follow God, and that in itself is honorable.  Unfortunately, you've been deceived and are on the wrong path.

You are probably saying, "No, I'm on the right path!"

Please consider the possibility that you have been misled.  If your beliefs are not true, would you want to know?

Maybe you say, "But they are true!"  That's not the point.  The point is, IF the WMSCOG was a false church would you want to know?

If you want to know for sure, you must seriously investigate.  Then whether you continue with the WMSCOG or not, at least you have been informed.

You have every right to believe what you want, even if it's not true.  If you are aware of all the problems with the WMSCOG and still choose to believe in them, that's your right.  But you must have the information to make your decision.

How angry should you get when someone who cares about you is making sure you have that information?

I like analogies.  Here's one for you:

Imagine your closest and dearest friend is in a serious relationship.  She (or he) is in love and getting ready to commit to marriage (or she could be married to him, either way).

One day you come across evidence that her man is living a double life, unbeknownst to her.  He's stealing from her, cheating on her, and lying to her, and you have proof.

Shouldn't your friend have this information?  If she knows all this and still wants to stay with him, it's her choice, of course.  But it's not right for this information to be hidden from her, is it?

How do you think she will feel when you approach her with the information?

She will probably be very angry at first and not want to look at it.  She won't want to believe you.  She'll try to make excuses that it's all false rumors, that if you only knew her man, you would know it couldn't be true.  She may even ask her man if it is true.  What do you think he'll say?

Yet the evidence is pretty clear to you--as nice as he is on the surface, the man's really a lying, cheating, thief.

If you truly cared about your friend, what lengths would you go to to get her to look at and consider the evidence before devoting her life to him?  Wouldn't you want her to at least examine the evidence for herself, without her man's influence, so she could think clearly?

This woman should ask herself, "If my relationship was not based on truth, would I want to know?"

She may not want to know because ignorance is easier.  But if she would rather know and have the assurance of truth, then she must investigate.  Right?

Don't be afraid.  If the WMSCOG is really true, then it will hold up to a serious investigation.  If it doesn't you have two choices: stay anyway or leave.

I suggest you start with these pages:

All of the information I research is available to you also.  None of the information here is secret, hidden, or imaginary--you can look it all up yourself, and I encourage you to do so.

I welcome your emails and comments, and I hope to hear from you.
May God bless you.

  1. Hello,
I am a previous member of the church but once I started researching things online and found this site. I quickly changed my mind about the church. As soon as they found out I was searching online I was called to the office to have a "talk". I told them its not really about online sites. Its about the truth. What I didnt understand is why they cared so much to keep me. What really got me is when they made me watch a video that said it was a SIN to look at things online. After that I watched a south park ( silly I know) episode about Scientology and it is almost the same story as my church. Thank you for making this site. :) I know the truth now

    2. Desipite all this information I David still choose to stay with Heavenly Father and Mother, because I see it as right and have tried to deny it many times to see if I would come back and I still did and continue too. I have left many times and still want to come back because it is the truth. Don't be deceived of biased opinions, realize what Ahnsahnghong has taught us because its in line with Jesus Christs trachings. The truth always proves itself

    3. Well, David, you are free to believe what you want, but I pray *you are not deceived. The wmscog has proved itself false. It is not in line with Biblical teachings, and it has made significant errors. I suggest you start with these: http://encountering-ahnsahnghong.blogspot.com/2012/08/proof-that-world-mission-society-church.html

    4. Jason as what i read on your post it seems you didn't studied enough. i been there for a little more of 4 months. i dedicated most of my free time studding their subjects writing questions of my doubts and getting their answers. In fact the purpose they didn't wanted you to see things on line is for the simple motive you left the church ( because you will fall for what its on internet, just like you did). I told the people of my church that i was looking what the online says about the church. in fact a lot of bad things just like its a cult and other stuff. on my short term i been there and the time i dedicated myself to study i haven't found any page to convince me that the church is wrong and even so if i read on internet something that makes me doubt i go and demand an answer to that and i always get one.

  2. Hi Genny thanks for the hardwork to reveal the truth about the so called mother Jesuslem, Now their focus in the countries like low profile of education and understanding of bible. I am writing it from Nepal. WMSCOG has a network in nepal their main focus is to catch the newly believing believers. What shall i do to stop them from doing this.

    1. Thank you Subash. I'm sorry you are having to deal with this in Nepal also. I do not know any way to stop the WMSCOG from preaching because if they truly believe in what they are taught, then they have to preach as part of their salvation.

However, I think there are ways you can equip new believers to be able to identify falsehood. They say bank tellers can spot any counterfeit money because they know very well the markings of authentic money. It's important for all Christians (not just new believers) to know what they believe and why. My advice would be to not just be satisfied with attending a general worship service once a week, but to get involved in in-depth Bible study, whether through Sunday School, small group meetings, books, etc.

May God bless you, and the Christian community in Nepal also.

There are more things to come and people deserve to hear the word of god to stay safe. my prayers and condolences go for every single person in there not just for our members.

    4. The reason you cannot stop our preaching is because the True God is with us. 2000 years ago the Pharisees persecuted the disciples so much and even tried killing them. Though the religious leaders at those times tried countless of times to stop them from preaching, they failed because God was with them though the Pharisees thought that they had God with them when they really didnt. The ones who have the True God are those who cannot be stopped. As it is written in the book of Acts 5:38 "Therefore in the present case i advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God."

A lot of Christians are persecuted in the World. So think about it. If you consider that the ones who are more persecuted are those who has the Truth. According to the statistics from medias, Christans (Who follow Jesus) are the most persecuted, Killed and tortured. Not a presecution with a WEB SITE !!!

  3. I LOVE YOUR SITE!!!!! I am writing to you from Long Island. I grew up in a very religious home, I am not a practicing Christian anymore, but I still believe.
For some reason a lot of my friends that go to college have joined this church. I didn't figure it out at first but I was approached to go to a "study" a few times, and that they attend the "Church of God". I have a few Pastors in my family who know other Pastors and I still have friends from my church days so I asked where they congregated and always was told that their church was "new"....
Anyways eventually I was able to get them to mention the "Mother God" and in research it brought me to this site. I have to say kudos, you know your stuff. If I could ask maybe on some things to expect on a first meeting with them I'd like to be prepared. Not in really in an attempt to abolish the church, it just kills me that these friends of mine are steering their obvious love for God to some lady in Korea.

Thanks and please keep it up.

    1. Hi Sergio. Thanks for the encouragement. I pray God will give you the words to say to speak the truth in love to your friends. I know I'm a little late in responding, so maybe you've already had that first meeting. Your first study sessions with them would probably cover the Sabbath or the Passover or one of the prophecies about the second coming of Christ or the existence of a 'Mother God.' And they will probably not cover anything about Ahnsahnghong or Zahng Gil Jah as the people fulfilling these things. I'm sorry that didn't narrow it down very much, but feel free to email me if you'd like to discuss any of these in detail.

    3. Hi Edmond. When I hear someone say that I take it to mean that they do not go to church or read their Bible or pray regularly (or any of the other activities we'd expect to see a Christian do), but they still believe that God exists and that Jesus is real. (Whether that's a good thing could be debated, but this might not be the place.) If Sergio means something else, I hope he lets us know.

  7. Hello!
I was a member of the Curch of God in Germany for about 8 months. Before I came there I never believed in God or The Bible, so you could say I was an easy pray for their teachings, since I had no clue or opinion about The Bible.
More than 7 months ago I made up my mind (because I saw my social relationships getting worse and some of the teachings I found to be rather dangerous), and since then my "church friends" still try to stay in contact with me. They even sometimes come to my house - they found out my adress by accident.
So at the end of this March is the Passover and they want me to participate. I told them every reason I had to leave already, still they try to contact me. I never answer my phone though, but I also feel guilty for doing so.
So with the Passover coming soon, I decided to make up my mind for good and I THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS SITE. As mentioned before, my knowledge about The Bible is rather limited. But your explanations are so helpful and so LOGICAL. I am not through the whole site yet, but I am going to read it all.
    Thank you so much!

  9. I was in this church for about a year from end of 2010 to Oct 2011. I do not have strong knowledge in the Bible therefore when they preach to me I was easily led astray by them.

Why I leave this church is because they structure me in such a way that I have to keep each and every single one of all the laws and regulation very very perfectly in order to achieve salvation. But then salvation is actually a gift of grace from God and is not to be earned in whatsoever way like how good and consistent you are at obeying and keeping certain rules and regulations.

What happens to me is that one evening I am about 20 minutes late into reaching the church for keeping the Sabbath, but just before I reach the church doorstep I suddenly broke into tears for being 20 minutes late of keeping the Sabbath and begin to self-condemn and turn back and go home, all the while ignoring the calls and message (with extreme guilt) of the church leaders and members that try to find out why I did not make it that evening for the Sabbath.

At that point of time in my life (not now) I think that I have failed God in observing all the laws perfectly because of that 20 minutes late and as a result enter into a state of self-condemnation and hardening of the heart to continue in the path of the faith anymore. From that evening onward, I totally cut myself off from all kinds of contact from the church and believing that I am on my way to hell (you see, at that point of time in my life I still believe that this church is the truth, that is why I think I am on the path to damnation after the spiritual fall and backslide that evening).

Day after day I keep on blaming myself and even though I have a physical body, mentally and spiritually I am lost as I go about doing my daily task. When the church keep on calling and message me, I ignore all of them. But tears still flow down my cheek when I read their message because even though I choose not to answer their call, I cant help to glance through the message before deleting them. Believing that the church is truth at that point of time, and yet keep on hardening my heart but secretly wish to be reconciled with them once again, only to be bar by my own pride to surrender back to them again without making a big fuss and them all coming to console me and try to make me go back.

But really thank God that a couple of months after I live in this self-made black hole, one of the church member also left the church (the only difference between him and me is that he left after realizing that it is a false church and not like hardening of the heart like my case) and send me the link to your blog.

You can guess how I felt after going through your blog and realizing that the so called true church is not truth at all, and that I am not on a path to damnation anymore, in fact it is quite the opposite. Your blog release me from my self-made black hole of self-condemnation and hardening of the heart. May God bless you and all others involve in the creation of this blog.

  10. you speak of deception and are critical of one organization. yet that fact remains that the whole world follows the beast. rev 13:8 which means even you. unless your name is written in the lambs book of life. since it is satan who leads the whole world astray because he is the father of lies, who are you following? Just as you are condemning one organization you yourself are also not following the teachings of jesus. You also are the reality of the hypocrit Jesus condemned 2000 years ago. you may want to look at yourself before casting judgement on others. are you truly gods child 0or just a demon who believes in God.

    1. Hi John. I'm glad you have visited my blog. I hope you have read my article above and have considered the question. If what you believe about the wmscog is not true, would you want to know?

You said, "the whole world follows the beast. rev 13:8 which means even you. unless your name is written in the lambs book of life"
Yes, and that means even you also. How do you think your name becomes written in the Lamb's Book of Life?

You said, "it is satan who leads the whole world astray because he is the father of lies, who are you following?"
Do you believe that God ever lies or that it is ok for Christians to lie?

You said, "you yourself are also not following the teachings of jesus"
Please be specific about which teachings of Jesus I am not following.

You said, "you may want to look at yourself before casting judgement on others"
You have judged me pretty harshly. Does this mean you have already looked at yourself? Have you already considered all the evidence I have presented against the wmscog?

Matt. 7:2-5 says that we should not judge another's sin if we are sinning even worse. But if someone does sin, we should respectfully confront them and speak the truth in love, hoping that they will repent and be restored (Matt. 18:15; James 5:20; Eph. 4:15; 2 Tim. 4:2).

      Delete
    2. if the whole world does not follow the beast in the last days than the bible is lying. i am not judging you, just stating fact. you are not following the teachings of jesus. 2 pe 3:16 even peter said those who distort the truth are ignorant and unstable. is peter judging?

and yes i have considered ALL the evidence you have presented. it is not really worhty evidence. for example you easter latest note. they celebrate it on same day because during 325AD council of nacea...oh nevermind. but wmscog celebrates according to luke 24:30 by breaking bread as paul did Acts 20:7. whereas most christians celebrate it pretending it is passover with bread and wine as commanded by the council of nacea.

Think about this, if you are wrong, you are declaring war on God. Acts 5:38-39. even Gamaliel was wise enough to know not to mess with Gods people

      Delete
    3. You are not making much sense. It is as if you are thinking faster than you are typing and leaving things out. However I will try to follow your thoughts.

I think you should double check your facts, or give the source. For example, where did you get, "most christians celebrate it pretending it is passover with bread and wine as commanded by the council of nacea"?
Which documents from the Council of Nicea are you reading? None of the ones I have read command Easter to be celebrated with bread and wine. Perhaps you can point me to the right canon or section.

Also, Acts 20:7 does not show Paul celebrating Easter (Resurrection Day) with breaking bread. The timing is not right for that. Five days of travel after the days of Unleavened Bread, not to mention staying there for seven days, puts the Sunday too late for Easter.

You said, "if you are wrong, you are declaring war on God."
And if you are wrong, you are committing heinous sin by worshiping two humans as gods instead of the one, true God. The idea of being wrong in either direction should prompt us to seriously consider all evidence on either side, and not dismiss it too quickly.

When you say, "yes i have considered ALL the evidence you have presented" did you mean what was in the email or what is here on my website? I am doubtful that you have read everything on my website, but I do wish you would.

      Delete
    4. traveling 5 days and staying 7 does not imply during that time they did not get together on the first day of the week to break bread. the resurrection always must be done on a sunday in accordance with the regulation. it is the first sunday after the after the sabbath after the passover. basically first sunday after unlevened bread. so if passover was on sunday, unlevened bread would be on monday, 5 days later friday, during their 7 days stay they kept the sabbath and resurrection.

kinda like if i said i was on vacation for 5 days. on monday i went ot disney land.. on tuesday i went to 6 flags. does that mean after my 5 day vacation i went to there. or during my vacation on those days i went there.

from wikipedia - you can look up their cite
We also send you the good news of the settlement concerning the holy pasch, namely that in answer to your prayers this question also has been resolved. All the brethren in the East who have hitherto followed the Jewish practice will henceforth observe the custom of the Romans and of yourselves and of all of us who from ancient times have kept Easter together with you.

the brothers(christians) in the east were keeping passover and now because of the council of nicea, they will do what the romans have been doing forever and celebrate easter with them.

      from Eusebius, Historia Ecclesiastica, 5,24.
      Chapter XXIV.—The Disagreement in Asia.

But the bishops of Asia, led by Polycrates, decided to hold to the old custom handed down to them. He himself, in a letter which he addressed to Victor and the church of Rome, set forth in the following words the tradition which had come down to him: “We observe the exact day; neither adding, nor taking away. For in Asia also great lights have fallen asleep, which shall rise again on the day of the Lord’s coming, when he shall come with glory from heaven, and shall seek out all the saints. Among these are Philip, one of the twelve apostles, who fell asleep in Hierapolis; and his two aged virgin daughters, and another daughter, who lived in the Holy Spirit and now rests at Ephesus; and, moreover, John, who was both a witness and a teacher, who reclined upon the bosom of the Lord, and, being a priest, wore the sacerdotal plate. He fell asleep at Ephesus. And Polycarp in Smyrna, who was a bishop and
martyr; and Thraseas, bishop and martyr from Eumenia, who fell asleep in Smyrna. Why need I mention the bishop and martyr Sagaris who fell asleep in Laodicea, or the blessed Papirius, or Melito, the Eunuch who lived altogether in the Holy Spirit, and who lies in Sardis, awaiting the episcopate from heaven, when he shall rise from the dead? All these observed the fourteenth day of the passover according to the Gospel,

seems alot of early church members kept the 14th day, passover

from History of the Christian Church, Volume III: Nicene and Post-Nicene Christianity. A.D. 311-600
These Paschal controversies descended into the present period, and ended with the victory of the Roman and Alexandrian practice of keeping Easter,

you couldnt find anything? how hard did you look. and yes i saw your evidence. i am not impressed. i read and scan fast i just stop at opinion or lack of real evidence and obfuscations.

  11. About Acts 20
They sailed after the "Days of Unleavened Bread." The Greek shows "days" as plural. The Festival of Unleavened Bread itself is 7 days (Lev. 23:6). Then they sailed for 5 days. It would have been at least 12 days after Passover, which means it could not have been Resurrection Sunday. It was a regular Sunday.

    About the Council of Nicea
You had said, "wmscog celebrates according to luke 24:30 by breaking bread as paul did Acts 20:7. whereas most christians celebrate it pretending it is passover with bread and wine as commanded by the council of nacea. "

You spoke of what was *eaten on that day. The Council of Nicea did not record anything about what to *eat on the day. They did not command it to be celebrated with bread and wine, as you said.

When I challenged you on that, you said I did not look hard enough and then spoke of the *date of the day being decided at the Council.

Yes, it is the date only that the Council of Nicea wrote about, but it is not I who did not look hard enough. It is that you spoke of one thing and then changed your mind to another.

You can read the text here:

The part regarding Easter is near the end in the Synodal Letter.

We have each said our piece about these topics, and readers may consider what they see here. It's not necessary to keep repeating arguments. If you have more to discuss on this, or another topic, that you would like addressed in public, I can set up another conversation page just for you (like I did with Cyrus and Paul). 12. unlevened bread in old testament was 7 days. just like passover was kept by killing a lamb.

in new testament times jesus said eat bread and wine on passover(mat 26:26-28) and keep unlevened bread by fasting from 12am - 3pm (Mk 2:18-20)

from History of the Christian Church, Volume III: Nicene and Post-Nicene Christianity. A.D. 311-600
and built upon the principle: “Cursed is every one who does not keep his passover on the fourteenth of Nisan.” They kept the day with the Communion and with fasting till three o’clock.

early church only kept unlevened bread til 3pm not 7 days as in old testament. so yes Acts 20:7 was feast of resurrection, not just some sunday.

i never said the council determined the manner by which to keep the feast, i can see how you may have misunderstood my statement through what you posted above. Easter was already being celebrated by many pagans and the western church for many years. in 155AD and 195AD there were discussions regarding this, as those eralier posts were from those exerts. the eastern church kept passover and the western church easter. but they both claimed to follow jesus. all the council did was declare passover as heretic and easter as the proper celebration. nothing more. of course easter was also celebrated with bread and wine

from History of the Christian Church, Volume III: Nicene and Post-Nicene Christianity. A.D. 311-600 ,
These Paschal controversies descended into the present period, and ended with the victory of the Roman and Alexandrian practice of keeping Easter, not, like Christmas and the Jewish Passover, on a fixed day of the month, whatever day of the week it might be, but on a Sunday, as the day of the resurrection of our Lord.

you are speaking a lot of things trying to discredit me. however you have not posted 1 thing to prove your actions through the bible? i am not even attacking your beliefs per say, just stating historical fact to back up biblical records. paul kept unlevened bread and pentecost, why dont main stream christians? 1 cor 5:7-8 paul said keep the feast of passover. if we dont have to, then paul is lying.

  14. Wow you did quite a big investigation. Its good you try to persuade people of something but its sad that you are just targeting WMSCOG even though there are many other churches out there. You put your self in a situation where most of our members will see you as a persecutor just because you are specifically targeting the church and its beliefs, i really don't see you in that way because you are giving your opinion and i respect that. i read almost all your blogs and notice that you are still missing information, i wont discuss it because it would take quite a time to explain each one. On my personal experience i didn't believe in God nor in Satan i was more base on the psychological and sociological facts. Just because i wasn't a believer didn't meant i wouldn't welcome someone to preach at me. ill let any one do it and in fact i was invited to quite a few different churches. I was just trying to to make myself believe but none of those churches and religions did that. One regular day like any other, i was feeling unease and thinking that my life didn't had a meaning, even though i was doing things i liked but not feeling like i had accomplish something, i decided to go out to the store alone (something that i never do alone) even thought i didn't had money i went. a member from WMSCOG approached me and asked me if she could preach to me and like most of the people that preach she asked if i believed in god. my answer to her was " i tried but didn't worked". she asked me, how is that so? i explained to her that my sister in la told me that if someone preaches to you and invites you to church that's god calling you. But that i was tired of the uncomfortable feeling and environment of the churches. i still told her that i was very open minded to any thing. She went directly to the point and told me that if i would love to have a bible study with her. i tried to avoid her by telling her that i didn't had time and that i was in a hurry plus i wasn't interested in attending church any time soon. she understood and offered her self to go to my house and do it in there when i had free time and if i had any questions shell do her best to answer them using the bible. i felt bad because she was the first person i was avoiding so i gave her a date to met at my house. the first day she went there and she told me what were the beliefs of the church and she answer all the questions i had about god. I didn't knew how to feel if guilt or relief because i was asking about God's existence. 3 weeks later after a few study's at my house i decided to attend the church. I expect to feel something like the other churches made me felt on the contrary i felt welcomed and like i belonged to that place. I didn't felt the need to ask any questions but to study every thing i could in the less time possible even that day i studied quite a few subjects with another church member. what I'm trying to say here is that not other church made me felt that way how can i go against something that is filling my emptiness. on the funny part i told the person who did the bible study with me " or either you are a good brain washer or this is where i belong" she laugh and told me back "i really must be, but remember god calls on the appointed time". i realized that she and missionary where the oldest members of the church in that city. They both help around the church to clean, to build, to cook to sit and eat with us all, even to go personally to your house and do some bible study or to pick you up because you don't have a ride. please understand what i said at the beginning there are many other churches out there that in fact do wrong.

  15. Hi! I have this friend that is a member of that church. I've researched about the church and I landed here. I must say that you are telling the truth. And I believe that wmscog is not,,, really,,, a good,,,, church.

But, how can I tell her these without offending her. I really do want to respect her decision but at the same time, I want to be the way so she can be saved from false teachings. Please give me a piece of advice. I really need it.
Thanks and may God bless you!

  16. Such an awesome site! My husband and I just had our first encounter with a member of this church and immediately felt the Holy Spirit nudging us about what he was saying. So many scriptures came to mind and he and I went back and forth for about 2p minutes until I told him that we had to leave.

He was a very kind young man, not disrespectful or anything, but what he said was not in agrrem7quth what I know about the Bible.

Thank you so much for this website.

  19. I don't really care about arguments now. Which is right and which is wrong. What the hell. The fact is..my life has been miserable since i left church of god after becoming a member for a short while (because of my family's church). No one has ever treated me better than the church members, even my family who always thinks i got problem.this church is good. Their teachings are good. They care about the members and never become too individualistic and self-centered as i can see those other "christians" or preachers out there sink themselves in money or other worldly things. Plus, the feeling i got most of the time from other churches is ignorance.. somehow people choose who to interact with and who to ignore! I don't hate anyone but i'm just pointing out the truth. It hurts when i got less answers or none at all..because since i left the church my life has been a huge question mark. However,my family doesn't allow me to join this church. I also feel i cannot become an atheist..so i need to choose. It sucks.

  20. I don't care and i don't want to debate. Since leaving church of god my life has been nothing but a jumping-upside down-question marks-experience. I find many other Christians are money-oriented or worldly in their own way. While the members of this church always care for one another.

    1. I'm guessing you and 'no name' are the same person. I'm so sorry you have had bad experiences with other Christian churches (and Christians). I wish you would be able to visit and meet with those that I know. I'm sure your opinion would change.

However, being treated well or poorly has nothing to do with proving whether a church preaches the truth. I've met very nice atheists, Hindus, Mormons, and occultists. Does that fact that they treated me well indicate that they preach the truth about God? No. Likewise, a church that does preach the truth may have members that have trouble practicing that faith consistently in their lives. Does that fact indicate that they preach false doctrine? No. In either case, we have to examine the doctrine itself.

If you need someone to talk with about making sense of the Christian faith, you are welcome to email me, and we can work through your questions together.

  21. Hello, I am from Nepal and doing my Bible school. During my study and research about WMSCOG, i found many of the teaching which is very contradictory to the word of God. I am very sorry to see such false teachings in Nepal too. We all should pray and share truth for those who are under the trap of WMSCOG group. It's a cult which is just not christian. Please all Nepali christian, don't fall on the trap of such cult group. Examine the truth and then you will know what is true. If you want to know more you can go to this link which is in Nepali....... http://www.jhutochurch.blogspot.in/#sthash.NlkRycNF.dpuf

    2. The wmscog does not respect other churches. Matt. 7:2, "for in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

  22. It's true that this world will follow and believe the beast in this last days because many will be deceived not only through the false words of the false prophets but trough your vulnerable minds that was easily corrupted by just words without a prof.
I don't know much about the church of God but the question is what's your point on doing this? Slandering a church that knows and can explain the truth (Gospel) better than you do? HTTP://WWW.WATV.ORG

  23. I was just baptized at WMSCOG and attendee the passover just tonight. It's very unsettling! How they praise Ahn Sahng Song and God the mother (who is a human incarnate for them) really made me uncomfortable. I'm Christian and I'm going to settle to my born again church. Never going inside WMSCOG again. And oh I must get baptized in my usual church again.

you was just baptize, right? I think you need to study more because your point that WMSCOG worship human incarnate is WRONG. I pity you for the reason that God allow you to celebrate the Passover but thinking that you realize nothing.

    2. Maybe that's something the wmscog should work on--baptizing and pushing the Passover too quickly. From my own experience and others, it is common to be pressured to be baptized right away, before knowing what the church is about, before knowing who Ahnsahnghong and 'mother god' are, before even deciding if they really believe or not.

  24. Just wondering.. Why spend so much time on this "cult", why not talk about your church, instead of picking on some church which you disagree with.

If this is really fake then let it be, it wont prosper.

And don't treat your sister like a disable person, she can think by herself.

    1. Interesting that I hear this a lot from the wmscog, yet they don't take their own advice. They intensely pick on Catholic and Protestant churches, which they disagree with. Why don't they let the other Christian churches be? If they are fake, then they won't prosper, right?

And I love my sister, which is why I speak out about this problem and pray that she will understand the truth one day.

  25. Genny I like your website I've been going to this church for like 2 years now never believed in them but I'm afraid of confrontation that's y I haven't left my bf goes as well I'm afraid to tell him he goes whenever but what advice can you give me and how to show my bf that the crazy people and they worship the own founder he believes just because of Bible study I'm assuming

    ReplyDelete
  26. Hello Genny my name is Suinda and I'm a new member of this church. Not here to defend them or accuse you of anything. You've raised some valid points which i will study myself , but the point you called truth: Jesus rose on the 1st day, so if you're upset about that then take it up with God, is where you lost me. See, im not upset he rose on sunday, how silly would i be to let that upset me. What bothers me is that God said Remember the 7th day and Man said ( the 7th day doesn't work for us instead we're gonna keep the day your son rose, ) . The same way you got me wondering about my church through the story of Isaac, you also have me wondering about your entire blog based on that one truth. Mind you, ive only been with this church since 9/15 and are not the reason i believe in keeping the 7th day. So even if i leave this church i will never Forget the 4th commandment. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication and prayers. Peace and Blessing to you and yours.

  27. I feel sorry for those who will be deceived by the slanderous remarks of this blogsite. I've been with WMSCOG for around 7 years, and I have also been reading this site for few days. Man's thoughts are very different from GOD's thoughts, to the new members of WMSCOG, please never believe the slanderous articles on this site and trust more GOD's thoughts as you continuously study the Bible. Thanks and God bless you.

    1. You see I'm confused why jesus had to come a second time to bring salvation.. So are you saying his first coming was pointless and not enough to bring salvation? Then I guess he needs to come a 3rd 4th and 5th time to save humanity

    2. I feel sorry for those who think jesus blood isn't enough to bring salvation. I feel sorry for those who think there are 2 Gods when the bible clearly DID NOT mention anything about a second god

  28. I was recently approached by a sweet looking girl asking if I wanted to talk about the Bible. I was raised Christian and felt that familiar tinge of guilt as I started to say no. I decided to let the guilt win and agreed to take a few minutes. She started talk about prophecy, something that has always interested me. I was in a hurry but wanted to hear more, so I asked her what the name of her church was. All she said was Church of God. She asked if I wanted to meet at the library to do bible study. I agreed and two days later I met her. the Bible studies (I attended 4) were interesting but there seemed to be a lot of new things I had never heard. She also told me about "god the mother". This is when I started wondering what in the world I had gotten myself into. I went home and researched a few things and found your website. This woman was so slick in the way she presented these things. I consider myself to be an intelligent individual, yet still feel lucky to have caught on. I can totally see how people could be in over their heads before they know it. I have considered meeting with her one last time to show her the information I have found on your site, but I'm not sure that I'm up for walking myself back into the lions den. Wish me luck. Thank you for putting this site together!

  29. Three guys showed up at my door today and gave me a bible study all about the passover. They did mention the mother god but failed to include any Korean woman. They want me to go to more bible study sessions across town but before I googled it I got a real faint cult vibe from the whole thing. Now that I looked into more I think I'll pass. Thanks for having this website it helped shed some light on the situation. Also the three guys were young and very convincing, especially when they got to talking about the parable of the wheat and the weeds. I can see how people get sucked into this organization.

  30. Hi! Thank you for this site! Going to meet up with few members of this Church in a few days. Thanks for this additional equipment. May their spiritual eyes be opened and may they upheld the Bible as the Final authority. Please pray for this upcoming encounter!
