I'm not sure what you mean by "no...Hi Sam,
I'm not sure what you mean by "not because of the feast, but because of the date and time it was celebrated."
I have heard about wmscog members who died after taking the Passover, so it is possible. I expect, like you do, that they would make some kind of excuse.
If you think about it, though, they 'advertise' (if you don't mind the word here) that the Passover will protect you from disasters, but they also teach that only 144,000 will be left to go to heaven alive with 'mother.' Therefore, with over 1 million members (that figure is from 2008), only 10% will really be protected (according to their teaching). Do they ever share that when they are trying to recruit you to join?gennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18071946375996064205noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2397025620170596837.post-14606522464595331472012-07-01T22:09:33.222-07:002012-07-01T22:09:33.222-07:00hello genny
I just want to ask you if anyone you ...hello genny

I just want to ask you if anyone you know has told you if someone from wmscog has passed away after celebrating the passover, and not because of the feast, but because of the date and time it was celebrated, Also if someone has passed away what has the church said or done in a case like this. The reason i ask is because I get a feeling that if that was to happen, they would most likely say, that the person had no faith. What do you think Genny?samnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2397025620170596837.post-23760002937610925532012-06-26T14:57:39.018-07:002012-06-26T14:57:39.018-07:00Thanks for the comment. I think you are saying th...Thanks for the comment. I think you are saying that these are actions you would consider worship, and that a cross should not be worshiped in this way?

Have you seen anyone kiss their wedding ring, or search the grass to find it if is dropped, or get upset if they lost it? Have you seen anyone kneel or bow before their country's flag, or kiss it? Have you seen anyone kneel before a war memorial?

Would you say that those symbols are being worshiped? Would you wish to get rid of wedding rings, flags, and memorials to prevent them from being worshiped?

Those are all symbols that cause thoughts toward the things they represent. That is what a symbol is meant to do.

If you have never had a life experience that would cause such an emotional response to a symbol of love or freedom, I hope you can imagine how it might happen.

The symbol of the cross does turn people's thoughts toward God, probably more so than the other physical things on the list. Let God be the judge of their hearts, for only He knows what is inside.gennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18071946375996064205noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2397025620170596837.post-59074362318652159452012-06-22T12:33:36.731-07:002012-06-22T12:33:36.731-07:00I have seen people kiss a cross. I even saw a hurried mother and daughter looking and looking in the grass for a cross necklace the daughter had dropped. The mother was so aggrivated she yelled and lightly hit the daughter. They found the cross. The mother kissed the cross and handed it to the daughter and scurried off.

It is worshipped, admired, and most of all "before" God. Look at an ole cross and it causes the thoughts toward God.

All those other physical things you listed are not things one kneels to.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
